About Us

Murfreesboro Vascular and Interventional (MVI) sees patients in private consultation at our new clinic on the Saint Thomas Rutherford campus. If a procedure is ultimately recommended for you, we will perform your procedure using our sophisticated, office-based equipment or in our newly built interventional suite at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

The minimally invasive techniques used by our physicians represent an advance in medicine that often replaces open surgical procedures, making the experience generally easier for the patient because smaller incisions are involved, leading to decreased risk, less pain and a shorter recovery time.

Our dedicated and knowledgeable staff offers the best care to each and every patient. We emphasize patient education, offering our patients clear explanations of their diagnosis and a treatment plan.

We are always available to answer your questions and keep you informed every step of the way.  Feel free to contact us at any time with questions at (615) 849-7490 or for more information at info@murfreesborovascular.com .

Our Team

Our patients receive the highest level of care from our operating room team of registered nurses (RNs) and radiology technologists in our interventional suite at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

Professionally trained in critical care nursing, procedural care and recovery, conscious sedation, IV insertion and managing medical emergencies, each member of our RN team is an expert clinician.
Every patient receives individual one-on-one nursing care to ensure their safety and decrease their anxiety. During each procedure, Dr. Thomas is assisted by a specially trained radiology technologist who is certified in vascular-interventional radiography.

At MVI, we are committed to keeping our patients well informed about their individual medical situations, the procedures they elect, and their follow-up care, so a dedicated team member will communicate with our patients every step of the way.
