Meet the Doctors



Dr. Steven Thomas

Dr. Steven Thomas is certified by the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Advanced Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.


His clinical interest is in Interventional Radiology and includes:

 

  • Percutaneous stent graft repair of thoracic and abdominal aneurysms.
  • Treatment of peripheral vascular disease
  • Minimally invasive treatment of liver and kidney tumors
  • Treatment of venous insufficiency (varicose veins)

 

Dr. Thomas is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin and the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He completed a transitional year internship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center at Knoxville, followed by a Radiology Residency at the University of Mississippi and a Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the University of Virginia.

At home, Dr. Thomas’ interests include weight training, racquetball and hunting. He is married and has three children.


Dr. Chip (Bruce) Bell

Dr. Chip (Bruce) Bell is a board-certified radiologist by the American Board of Radiology.


His clinical interests within Interventional Radiology include:

 

  • Peripheral arterial/vascular disease (PAD/PVD) endovascular interventions
  • Treatment of uterine fibroids
  • Venous insufficiency and varicose/spider vein treatments
  • Vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty
  • Deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism interventions
  • Varicocele intervention
  • Pelvic congestion syndrome intervention

 

Dr. Bell is a graduate of Wheaton College, Creighton University Graduate School and Loyola University Chicago – Stritch School of Medicine. He completed a Transitional Year Internship at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI, followed by residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX, and then fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL.


Dr. Bell is married with three children. His interests include watching and playing sports, working out and travelling.


Dr. Brett Donegan

Dr. Brett Donegan is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Neuroradiology.


His clinical interests within Interventional Radiology include:

 

  • Mechanical thrombectomy for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke
  • Embolization of intracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and dural arteriovenous fistulae
  • Carotid artery angioplasty and stenting
  • Deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism interventions
  • Endovascular treatment of peripheral arterial disease


Dr. Donegan is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Engineering and School of Medicine. He completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowships in Neuroradiology/Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Emory University. He is married and enjoys playing the guitar and traveling.
